Problems Brits face when it's unexpectedly hot
We are literally never prepared.
The post-summer months are a very confusing time for we Brits. We spend the freezing months of May defiantly wearing summer clothes, but when it gets to the Autumn months, shorts and t-shirts would be an absolute abomination!
Here are some of the problems we encounter when September decides to shine its 30-degree sun on us.
1. We're always overdressed
It might get cold later, we need layers!
2. The emergency brolly still comes into play
The weather forecast ALWAYS gets it wrong, right?!
3. We think it's past suncream weather, then we get horribly sunburnt
What?! I've got a base tan!
Has anyone seen the after sun cream?
4. We misjudge the footwear situation entirely
Boots instead of sandals? What were we thinking?!
5. Actually, we misjudge the entire clothes situation
Shorts and socks are ALWAYS a winning combo.
6. We optimistically spend ages doing our hair, only for it to turn into a massive frizzball in the sun
7. No one at the office has worked out how to turn off the heating
Seriously guys, we're melting up on Level 4.
8. We start to hear the phrase "UK is officially hotter than insert tropical country"
Barbados, Blackpool...what's the difference in this sweltering heat?!
It's all a bit much for we delicate British flowers.
