HMV sold a turntable a minute this Christmas!
Vinyl is making a well deserved comeback, however for some of you it probably never went away!
HMV have revealed they sold a turntable a minute in the week leading up to Christmas.
As reported by The Scotsman HMV's chief executive Ian Topping said "Entertainment products form a major part of the Christmas shopping list. The gift of the year in 2015, though, has to be a turntable, as we see a huge resurgence in the sales of vinyl."
So the Vinyl revival is definitely in full swing as it was announced that sales reached 1.3 Million in the UK for the first time since 1995 according to NME
John Lewis and Amazon also reported high sales of turntables, so go up to the attic and dust off that record player!
