Full cast pictures released for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
Our much loved characters are all grown up!
Ahead of the highly anticipated play, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, pictures of the cast have been released showing our much-loved witches and wizards all grown-up.
19 years on from the ending of Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows, Harry, Ginny Weasley, brother Ron, Hermione and Draco Malfoy all have children of their own in the play that debuts on the 7th June.
Alex Price plays Harry's rival Draco, while Anthony Boyle takes on the role of his son, Scorpious.
Paul Thornley, who plays Ron, is seen wearing knitwear despite the character hating his mother’s knitted jumpers throughout the books.
He's pictured with Noma Dumezweni, who plays Ron’s wife Hermione, and Cherelle Skeete who plays their daughter Rose Grainger-Weasley.
The play sees Rose ready to start at Hogwarts and actress Cherelle revealed her character is very similar to the studious Hermione.
It comes after pictures of Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley and their son Albus (named after Albus Dumbledore in the books) were released.
Jamie Parker will step into Harry’s shoes, while Poppy Miller plays Ginny and Sam Clemett plays their son.
The two-part play sees Harry juggle being a father, an employee at the Ministry of Magic and with his past. His son Albus must also deal with his father’s legacy which he never wanted.
The script for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child will be published on the 31st July.
