Duchess of Cambridge gives first solo interview for Queen's Birthday
She's taking part in a documentary to mark the Queen's 90th Birthday
Kate Middleton has conducted her first ever solo interview as part of a documentary to mark the Queen's 90th Birthday.
The Duchess of Cambridge was interviewed by broadcaster Tom Brady for the ITV show, which has the working title of 'The Queen at Ninety'.
Film crews were given exclusive access to the Queen and the documentary will also boast interviews with Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall and Kate’s husband Prince William.
Alongside the exciting documentary, ITV have also confirmed Ant & Dec will host a televised celebration.
It will be a live broadcast telling the Queen's life story from birth in 1926 through her coronation in 1953 and her reign stretching more than 60 years.
Ant and Dec enthused: "This spectacular evening will bring together some of the best-known names in the entertainment world."
There will be performances from singers, musicians dancers and Katherine Jenkins has been confirmed.
Nick Kent the executive producer of the documentary said: "We've been fortunate to have the participation of so many members of the Royal Family to mark this historic milestone in the life of the Queen."
"It's a remarkable story of an extraordinary life which in so many ways reflects the changing face of the nation."
The Queen's 90th Birthday will be celebrated all over the world at the time of her official birthday in June and in the spring in April to mark the day she was born.
