To celebrate 10 years of Britain's Got Talent we thought we'd find out what the winners are up to.

Series 1: Paul Potts - Opera Singer

Paul won the first ever series of Britain's Got Talent with his rendition of 'Nessun dorma' for which he received a standing ovation.

The opera singer is still enjoying a successful career in music, he is currently on tour in Europe and also held his first photography exhibition in Hungary called Opera Star Around the World last month.

Series 2: George Sampson - Streetdancer

George won BGT at the tender age of 14 in 2008 performing to the Mint Royale version of 'Singin' in the Rain'.

Since winning he has appeared on TV a number of times. In 2012 he appeared on the big screen in StreetDance 2 and most recently he has been playing the character of Ryan in Emmerdale.

Series 3: Diversity - Streetdance troupe

Famously beating the incredible Susan Boyle in the live final, Diversity have done a number of tours since winning in 2009.

While many of the group have done solo projects the dance troupe continue to tour and Diversity will be on tour again in 2017.

Series 4: Spelbound - Gymnastic troupe

Wowing both the public and judges Spelbound took the BGT crown in 2010 with their incredible gymnastics.

In the years since winning the series the troupe have changed their line-up a number of times. The last of the original members of the group retired after the Royal Variety performance in November 2012.

It's not known that they are up to now as their official website was last updated at the beginning of 2015.

Series 5: Jai McDowall - Singer

Jai won the series in 2011 and performed a headline sell out show in October of that year.

He released his debut album 'Believe' in 2011, but it only reached 54 in the UK charts. Despite limited commercial success Jai has continued to work in the music industry, most recently performing with the Glasgow Philharmonia Orchestra.

Series 6: Ashleigh and Pudsey - Dancing dog act

Since winning the viewers' hearts and BGT votes in 2012 Ashleigh and Pudsey were in high demand with appearances on TV, stage and even the big screen. Pudsey: The Movie was released in 2014 with David Walliams lending his voice to Pudsey.

Recently the duo have been at Crufts dog show in Birmingham promoting Drontal and Advantage - The Inseparables.

Series 7: Attraction - Shadow theatre group

Attraction wowed the audience with their impressive shadow theatre performances, ending with the tribute to Britain which received a standing ovation from all of the judges.

In March of this year Attraction had a one off show of their full length production, The Box at the London Palladium.

Series 8: Collabro - Classical singers

After belting out songs from Les Misérables to win them the series Collabro signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music.

Since winning their success has continued with a second studio album released last year and a tour. They have also just been voted Favourite BGT Winners by viewers of Good Morning Britain.

Series 9: Jules O'Dwyer & Matisse - Musical canine freestyle

For the second time a dog act won BGT, but this time it was less about the routines and more about the story-telling.

After some controversy last year surrounding Jules O'Dwyer & Matisse winning the series they seem to have disappeared without any public appearances for quite some time.
