The favourite names have been revealed for Royal baby number three
The Duchess of Cambridge is due in April 2018
Yesterday it was announced by Kensington Palace that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's third child is expected to arrive in April 2018, and now bookmakers have released their favourite names for the new Royal baby.
Unexpectedly, the top three favourite names for the new Prince or Princess are all very traditional, including Alice, Victoria and Arthur.
Bookmakers have Alice as the favourite name if the new arrival is a girl with odds of 8/1, and Arthur and Henry are both at 10/1 if it's a boy.
Other popular names in the running include Victoria, Mary and Alexandra for a girl, and Henry, Albert and Frederick for a boy.
Although Prince William and Kate Middleton have chosen traditional names such as George and Charlotte for their first two children, some more unusual names have been brought into the mix by bookmakers including Donald and Wayne (both 200/1).
Yesterday Kensington Palace announced The Duchess of Cambridge's due date is April 2018 in a tweet from their official Twitter account.
Sharing a photo of Prince William and Kate, the message read, 'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018.
An official statement announcing the couple's pregnancy was first released back in September and revealed how the 'Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news'.
It also detailed how The Duchess was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe vomiting) as with her previous pregnancies.

The Royal couple already have two children together, four-year-old Prince George who was born on the 22nd July 2013 and two-year-old Princess Charlotte who was born on 2nd May 2015.
