Fran sees her role as that of a friend easing you gently and melodiously into your early mornings, bringing you the first news of the day, the weather outlook and travel updates to help you dodge the jams. She also rootles out quirky news items, historical birthdays and words of wisdom (or not) from the famous. Fran moved out of London in 2018 to a village in the Chilterns, close to some of her family. After much thought, Fran got Barney, her first ever dog - and happily shares the challenges and anecdotes connected with life in the country and being trained by a diminutive canine!
