About Angellica Bell
Angellica Bell has been a television and radio broadcaster for over two decades and has emerged as a significant presenter of adult factual and entertainment programmes in the UK. Angellica grew up in West London and has lived in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames since 2002. She was a trustee at the Rose Theatre for seven years and is a Patron for local charity, Creative Youth.
Angellica’s career started at the BBC in 2000 when she became the face of Children’s BBC until 2007 and during that time was twice nominated for Best Presenter at the Children’s Baftas. During her time as a children’s TV presenter, she worked on popular shows such as Short Change, 50/50 and The Saturday Show. Since then, she is known for co-presenting the Bafta-nominated financial programme, The Martin Lewis Money Show (ITV) and The One Show (BBC1).
Other recent appearances include being the new presenter on Shop Smart, Save Money (C5), yearly coverage of The Chelsea Flower Show (BBC1), Sunday Morning Live (BBC1) and A Very Country Christmas (BBC1) and regularly guests on television programmes across the network channels.
Another highlight of her career was winning Celebrity MasterChef (BBC1) in 2017 which led to her publishing her first cookery book aimed at children called Fantastic Eats and How to Cook Them! Published by Quadrille in 2019.
Angellica loves a challenge and during her career she toughed it out in the Arctic for five weeks in71 Degrees North for ITV, sailed around the British Isles on a Volvo 65 as part of a fundraising effort for The One Show raising over a million pounds for Sport Relief and in 2016, cycled and completed the L’Etape for Tour de Celeb on Channel 5 (the hardest section of The Tour de France) giving herself only eight weeks to learn to ride a bike.
Angellica’s friendly, engaged style of narration means that she is much in demand as a voiceover artist and in her radio work she can indulge in one of her music passions for classical music where she presents a show on
Scala Radio every Saturday morning 10-1pm. She has also recently landed a new show on Magic FM starting in October. She presents a successful podcast called The NatWest Business Show where she interviews inspiring entrepreneurs discussing their path to success and the struggles they may have encountered.
Angellica enjoys keeping active, cooking, playing the cello if she gets a spare moment and spending time socialising!
