Actress Joanna Page and her husband James Thornton have welcomed their third child into the world, a baby boy called Noah Wilder Russell.

Joanna, who is best known for her portrayal of Stacey in comedy series Gavin and Stacey, announced their happy news on Twitter.

She wrote, "Our beautiful baby boy Noah Wilder Russell was born Tues the 13th at 8:51am, weighing 7 pounds 3. Welcome to our gang Noah! We love you xxx"

Proud dad James also shared the news with his fans.

Noah is Joanna and James’ third child; they already have three-year-old daughter Eva and one-year-old son Kit.

The couple married back in 2003 and have always loved the idea of having a big family.

Earlier in the year, the actress expressed she was very open to the idea of adding to her brood. She said, "James is one of four, so to him four is the norm. For me one is the norm, but I can see how people get addicted to having babies.

“I would like to keep going and pop out as many as possible – I only wish I'd started having them at a younger age.”

As well as Joanna, James is no stranger to the limelight. The dad-of-three played the role of John Barton in Emmerdale between 2009 and 2012.

Meanwhile as well as Gavin and Stacey, Johanna has also appeared in movies such as Nativity 2 and TV shows including Syndicate.

Congratulations to the happy couple! Lovely news just in time for Christmas.
