It's Foodie Friday! I have a real passion for food, and having owned quite a few restaurants over the years I've picked up some great cooking tips.
Over the next few weeks we'll be giving you some quick and easy ways to make the food you cook every day at home even tastier.

Nick's really tasty roasties
Ingredients
- 1Kg of Maris Piper potatoes
- Olive oil
- Maldon salt to serve
Method
- Heat oven to 200C/Fan 180C/gas 6
- Peel the potatoes
- Cut in half
- Parboil them for 8 minutes
- Leave them to go completely cold
- Rough them up with a fork
- Pour a generous amount of oil onto a baking tray
- Heat for a few mins
- Put the potatoes in the oil and make sure they are completely coated
- Roast for 45 minutes
- Turn them over a few times until golden brown
- Serve with sea salt
