The oldest woman is the world will be celebrating her next birthday at the end of this month and she has revealed the secret to her long life.

The 116-year-old Italian said in a recent interview that she doesn't eat much as she doesn't have any teeth, but she always eats two eggs and cookies.

She says she has eaten two raw eggs everyday for decades after her doctor said it would help with her anemia (yep, raw!).

Emma Morano, who lives in Verbania, Italy, was born in 1899 and will celebrate her 117th birthday on 29th November. She says another secret to her long life is being single, having been single since she got divorced many years ago.

Speaking to AFP, Emma's doctor Carlo Bava said, "Despite everything she always recovers. When she is well, she really is well."

Emma Morano was given the title of the oldest woman in the world earlier this year, after Susannah Mushatt Jones from New York sadly died. At the time, Susannah was a few months older than Emma.

If we manage to live til we're 117, we'll be pretty proud of ourselves!

You go, Emma.
