A brand new series of The Traitors has landed on the BBC

Following the hugely popular BBC series The Traitors, which finished just before Christmas, fans have been calling out for more, and now following the news that the BBC have the rights to The Traitors US, it is now available to stream in the UK.
Fans can watch the full series of The Traitors US on iPlayer, it will also be shown later on BBC Three and BBC One. What a great way to start the New Year!
The UK version of The Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman and set in Ardross castle in Scotland, has now been streamed over 28 million times on iPlayer, so no doubt the BBC will be hoping the US series will be just as popular.
The BBC Press Office announced the news on Twitter saying: '🚨 O come all ye Faithfuls... this is NOT a drill 🚨 The Traitors US is coming to @BBCiPlayer - tomorrow, Friday 13 January! And you'll be able to watch on @bbcthree and @BBCOne very soon too...'
Speaking about the new title, Dan McGolpin, Director, iPlayer and Channels, said: "Following the huge success of The Traitors, which has been streamed more than 28 million times on BBC iPlayer and was the talk of the nation over the festive period, we’re delighted to give BBC viewers the chance to watch the brand new US series within hours of its release in America.
"Hosted by the brilliant Alan Cumming and filmed at the same location as the UK series, it’s a new year treat for those seeking out more treachery - all is about to be revealed on BBC iPlayer, BBC Three and BBC One."
The Traitors US sees a mixture of 20 famous faces and everyday Americans working to build up a prize fund of $250,000, while of course there are some traitors amidst the faithfuls.
The Traitors US consists of 10 hour-long episodes and is available to watch on iPlayer from Friday 13th January, followed by five weeks of double-bills on BBC One on Wednesday nights at 10.40pm from 25th January.
The Traitors US will also be available on BBC Three across three weeks from 24th January.
The UK version of The Traitors is still available to watch on iPlayer.
