Linda spills The Traitors castle secrets and says she’d love to do a travel show

Traitors legend Linda Rands has become somewhat of an icon since she graced our screens earlier this month in series 3 of The Traitors — and now she's given us some hope that might not be the last we see of her. Linda joined Harriet Scott on Magic Breakfast where she revealed she'd "love" to do a travel show, reviewing "really, really good restaurants".

The traitor also spilled the beans on what goes on when the cameras aren't rolling at The Traitors castle in the Scottish Highlands, including the rules on alcohol consumption, and told us how long it takes to film, from start to finish...

Are there rules on drinking alcohol in The Traitors castle?

Yes! Linda told us they were only allowed one mini bottle of wine of an evening.

“I did ask for Shiraz” she said. "But you do need a drink after that round table, let me tell you, oh my goodness."

How long does it take to film The Traitors?

Linda told Magic Radio that the filming is done in around three weeks, although she only lasted the two. And in a hilarious turn of events, the Traitors legend said she told most of her family she was just "going to France to visit a friend" for a few weeks.

Linda speaks on what it's like to be recognised in public...

"It’s a little bit surprising for a 71-year-old to be so popular. But it's been lovely, and people have been amazing. Really, really lovely," Linda said.

After revealing she's often stopped in the street, Linda jokingly said her family "secretly love it". "They’re basking in the reflected glory," she told us. Queen!

What's next for Linda?

We've been wondering what's going to fill the Linda-sized hole in our lives since the traitor was booted off the show — but now she's given us hope that there could be more of the self-confessed "eccentric" to come!

When Harriet asked what content we're likely to see on Linda's new Instagram account, she told us "I do like travelling. I travel quite a bit", leaving the pair cooking up an idea of a new travel show: "I could be a restaurant critic," she said. "I love really, really good restaurants. Wouldn't that be great."
