Bros star announced for Strictly Come Dancing

The next series of Strictly Come Dancing is just around the corner, and show bosses have gradually been revealing all of the celebrities and professional dancers who will be taking to the dancefloor this autumn. The latest name to be announced is none other than Bros singer Matt Goss.
Matt kicked off his amazing music career as the lead singer of Bros in the 80s and early 90s before going solo. He is still releasing new music and shared his brilliant album 'The Beautiful Unknown' in March. He'll be swapping his studio for the ballroom dance floor soon enough though, as the 20th series of the show will start in September.
To announce the exciting news, the official Strictly Come Dancing Instagram account shared Matt's photo to their page and wrote: 'When will pop icon Matt Goss be on #Strictly? We can answer that... 2022!' (sic)
While on This Morning earlier today (8th August), Matt got chatting to hosts Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle about appearing on the show. He said: "I’m excited, I’m nervous. You have the conversation and then you go about your day and you think, ‘I’ve got to dance.’ I’m eating everything that’s favourable to Spandex. I’ve got to make sure it’s alright, I’m excited.
"I’ve been almost reclusive. I come in (to the country), I work and go back to America. I just thought, ‘You know what, it’s time for me to come home, just do something completely out of my comfort zone' … I’m quite shy off stage. I just have to face all those demons and just learn."

Kym Marsh
