Netflix's hit period drama, Bridgerton is making its grand return tomorrow and it's fair to say that we cannot wait!

This morning, Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in the hit series dropped by Magic HQ to chat to Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott about the new season and she gave us a few hints about what we can expect to see.

🚨 Bridgerton season one spoilers ahead 🚨

Harriet asked Nicola if there were any scenes in season 2 that she couldn't wait for people to see: “Yeah, it gets very dramatic. My character's journey this season is very nail-bitey, stressful. You get to see behind the curtain of how she gets away with being Lady Whistledown.”

She added: “The final episode had my heart sort of racing. Yeah, it's yeah, it's very dramatic.”

Nicola also admitted that she has taken a couple of props home from the Bridgerton set, she revealed she took home some fake wisteria flowers as well as one of one of the dance cards they would wear on their wrists.

“But they didn't mind” she insisted, “I did ask. I was polite, but the wisteria I didn't ask. I just was like, yoink in the bag.”

Nicola also spoke about her role as Clare Devlin on Channel 4's Derry Girls especially since an early episode featured some Boyzone in its soundtrack! Ronan wanted to find out who was behind that great idea and whether there was any more to come.

Nicola answered: “I think it's it's Lisa McGee, who's sort of our show runner, isn't she? She created it and writes it. I think, yeah, so I don't know about season six. I haven't seen anything. So there very well could be more Boyzone.”

You can listen to Magic Breakfast with Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott every weekday from 6am.

You can stream the second season of Bridgerton on Netflix from Friday 25th March.
