Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs sadly dies aged 86

Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs has sadly passed away at the age of 86, after a four-year battle with dementia.
Andrew’s wife Melody released a short statement confirming the news. It read, "My heart has been broken every day for a long time".
Speaking to a national newspaper, Melody revealed that Andrew has been suffering with vascular dementia since 2012, leaving him unable to speak and confined to a wheelchair.
Andrew found fame and was loved by many after playing 'the world's worst waiter' Manuel in 1970s TV show Fawlty Towers.

The actor then went on to play Ramsey Clegg in Coronation Street in 2009, but later pulled away from fame when he was taken ill.
