'I should have watched Tom Hardy's first': Chris Evans talks Bedtime Stories
The Captain America actor is the latest star to read a story on CBeebies!
Chris Evans was surprised at the public reaction to Bedtime Stories.
Captain America himself is sitting down to read 'Even Superheroes Have Bad Days', on a couch surrounded by teddy bears.
He's the latest in a long list of actors and stars that have read a tale to help little ones get to sleep; but perhaps the most famous to have gone before him is Tom Hardy.
In the past few months, Tom has read three stories, with each one sparking off a social media frenzy. Needless to say, Tom's videos have been popular with a much wider crowd than just kids and their parents.
When Chris came in to chat to us, he told us he had absolutely no idea just how popular the show was, and now wishes he'd watched Tom's before!
Here's a sneak peek of Chris' Bedtime Story! The full version will air at 6.50pm on Wednesday 10th May, on CBeebies.
Chris was over in the UK to promote his new film 'Gifted', which hits cinemas on 16th June.
In the film, he plays the uncle and guardian of a seven-year-old kid with a remarkable gift for maths. While others want to push her into becoming a child prodigy, Chris' character Frank just wants her to have a normal childhood, which leads to a custody battle.
