Captain America Chris Evans is the next bedtime story reader on CBeebies
One for the mums 🔥
Chris Evans is reading the next CBeebies bedtime story.
After the excitement of Tom Hardy appearing on CBeebies, another hunky actor has been hired to read a story on Bedtime Stories. And he doesn't disappoint.
Chris Evans, best known for playing Captain America in the Marvel franchise, plans to read Even Superheroes Have Bad Days by Shelly Becker and Eda Kaban, on Wednesday 10th May at 6.50pm on CBeebies.
The book has a special moral message, which aims to help children understand that everyone gets upset, and it's important that they learn to adapt to their feelings.
Speaking about his appearance on the show, the actor said: "I'm honoured to be the next guest on CBeebies Bedtime Stories which is such a special show."
"I hope families have as much fun watching as I had reading."
Chris joins a host of stars who have made an appearance on the family show. Stars include Tom Hardy, who read The Cloudspotter by Tom McLaughlin on Valentine's Day.
Damien Lewis also took part in the show back in 2016, reading The Baby in the Hat by Allan Ahlberg and Andre Amstutz from a rather plush-looking antique library.
We've heard on the grapevine that the BBC are looking for more attractive men to read bedtime stories... may we suggest Chris Hemsworth?
Please?
