The Nokia 3310 will be re-launched later this year
This is not a drill!
Fed up with your smart phone? Perhaps this could be your answer.
For those who are too young to remember a time before charging your phone every night and taking selfies, the Nokia 3310 was 'the most reliable phone ever made'!
The Nokia 3310 is so reliable some original models of the phone - which was released in 2000 - are STILL working now, and they don't need to be charged every second of the day.
According to the website Venture Beat the new version of the Nokia favourite is expected to be revealed with a price tag of just €59 at the Mobile World Congress being held in Barcelona later this month.
Whilst it is, as you would expect, lacking in the modern smartphone capabilities it is likely to be pitched as a second (backup) phone for those who remember it from almost two decades ago.
Here are 10 reasons we love the Nokia 3310:
You could change the covers.
You could play Snake.
It only needed charging once a week.
The screen didn't need a screen protector.
The screen wouldn't crack.
Neither would the case.
You could also see the screen in direct sunlight.
You could compose your own ringtones.
And the default ones were pretty iconic.
Because there's no internet there are no distractions!
The Nokia brand struggled in the smartphone era and has since been bought by HMD Global, a Finnish company who will also be revealing the new Nokia 3310 along with new models, the Nokia 3, 5 and 6.
