Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston are looking for singers to join The Fizz

Eurovision winners The Fizz (previously known as Bucks Fizz), are on the look out for two new members of the band, after original singer Mike Nolan announced he was leaving earlier this year.

The band, who under the name Bucks Fizz had Number 1 hits with 'Making Your Mind Up' and 'The Land of Make Believe' and 'My Camera Never Lies', have posted an advert on their website. In the advert they state they're looking for two men to join the current female line-up of Cheryl and Jay.

Other requirements for the new members are:

Singing and vocal harmony experience required
Good movement and basic dance skills
Must be familiar with In Ear Monitors.

Age: 40+
Height: 5 '7 - 5'11
Weight: Slim build
Hair: preferably fair
Location: Ideally South East based - driver's license and car essential.

When will auditions take place?

Auditions will take place on 10th September 2024 in London.

After winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981, Bucks Fizz went on to 'The Land of Make Believe', 'My Camera Never Lies', 'Now Those Days Are Gone' and several more hits.

Former members of the group, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston, later created The Fizz and continued to tour and release music, including 'Treasure Forever' released in 2023.
