Take That are doing Carpool Karaoke with James Corden and we can't wait

It's coming this Friday!

James Corden is no stranger to playing chauffeur to the stars, with his highly successful Carpool Karaoke, which featured for nearly a year on his Late Late show. But now, it's time for the most special guest yet: Take That are doing Carpool!

Due to be aired on Friday for charity, this edition of Carpool Karaoke will see The Late Late Show host driving Gary, Howard and Mark around the streets of Los Angeles.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Howard described it as "an amazing experience", saying he didn't realise how much work went into it. Apparently, they have a crew of around 25 people, and they were 'driving around LA for around three hours'!

Gary also revealed that James DOES actually drive and isn't towed, as some people had speculated although. "He doesn't drive fast," he admitted.

Whilst Take That won our UK hearts a while ago, they have never been very well-known in the US. But Gary made it clear that the group won't be leaving the UK for the US anytime soon:

"We don’t have any designs on breaking America. We honestly don’t. We’re at the wrong point in our career. We celebrate still having a career in Europe!"

Jo from our Entertainment Team caught up with Take That recently and asked them what it was like taking their kids on the road with them.

Since Carpool Karaoke started two years ago, James Corden has hosted some of the biggest names in showbiz including Chris Martin from Coldplay, Adele and Bruno Mars.

The special Take That Carpool will be shown as part of Red Nose Day on BBC One, on Friday 24th March. We can't wait!
