The Rolling Stones are among the nominees for The BRIT Awards 2024, receiving their first nomination in over a decade.

The 44th BRIT Awards ceremony takes place at London’s The O2 on Saturday 2nd March and the nominations for 14 categories were revealed this afternoon during a live feed.

The Rolling Stones have also been nominated in the Alternative Rock Act category, with Bring Me The Horizon, Young Fathers, Yussef Dayes and Blur also picking up nods.

Thanks to their wildly successful ninth studio album ‘The Ballad of Darren’, Blur have also picked up three nominations – Mastercard Album of the Year, Group of the Year and Alternative Rock Act.

Blur previously won BRIT Awards for Album of the Year (‘Parklife’), Single of the Year (‘Parklife’) and British Group in 1995, and British Video of the Year for ‘The Universal’ in 1996. They were also winners of the Outstanding Contribution to Music award in 2012.
