Let's be honest... As a parent, finding 100% appropriate pop songs your kids can listen to can be a bit of a minefield - and even if they don't totally understand the lyrics, it can be pretty weird to hear your kids singing along to songs about sex and drugs. So we've made a list of the more 'child-friendly' pop tunes!

'Can't Stop The Feeling' was recorded for the animated movie Trolls, and is one of our favourite JT songs of all time. Plus, it was the US's best-selling song of 2016, so you know it's good!

2. Pharrell Williams - 'Happy'
Nothing puts us in a happier mood than Pharrell's 'Happy'! If you want your kids dancing around the house with a smile on their face all day, this has got to be the tune for you.

What an epic pop tune! Westlife are perfect when it comes to easy lyrics and a VERY catchy singalong chorus.

4. Scissor Sisters - 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin''
This classic pop song does exactly the opposite of what it says on the tin! Your kids might have to look up the lyrics, though – it's not always easy to decipher what the Sisters are saying.

'Hold Back The River' has a great foot-tapping beat to it. It's also got a lot of repetition in the chorus so it's pretty easy to sing along to!

6. Ed Sheeran - 'Nancy Mulligan'
If you want a tune to get you tapping your foot and jigging your knee all day, Ed Sheeran's 'Nancy Mulligan' hits the nail on the head. Wait until the next family car trip, and get a karaoke session going in the back seat!

Shania's third biggest single always goes down a storm at children's parties. Just be careful they don't fall in love with the video too much – they might never stop asking for a leopard print catsuit!

9. Encanto -'We Don't Talk About Bruno'
In fairness, any Disney song will go down a treat with the kids, but 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' has quickly become one of their most popular songs of all time! The song was penned by Lin-Manuel Miranda - who also wrote the songs for Hamilton and Moana - and it broke records by being the first Disney song to make it to Number 1 in the UK charts.
