Ed Sheeran given a police warning for ‘driving at 90’ lyrics
His new track 'Castle on the Hill' has got him in a spot of bother!

Last Friday, Ed Sheeran made his comeback with the brilliant new single 'Castle on the Hill', the first new music from Ed since 2015.
Since their release, Ed's made history with 'Castle on the Hill' and 'Shape of You', with both tracks reaching streaming records and hitting spots No.1 and 2 almost immediately. But one police officer has a word of warning for Ed!
Sergeant Chris Harris, who is a Roads Policing & Firearms Operation Sergeant for Norfolk & Suffolk Police force, tweeted the singer,
"Know you want to get home but please slow down on #SuffolkRoads #WelcomeBackEd #DrivingAt90 #CastleOnTheHill".
The tweet is in response to the lyrics ‘I'm on my way. Driving at 90 down those country lanes’, which feature in Ed’s track ‘Castle On The Hill’.
Last week, Ed popped in to tell us the story behind his scar, which appeared below his eye in November last year.
The incident happened at a Windsor Royal Lodge party held by Princess Beatrice where she grabbed a ceremonial sword to conduct a mock knighthood ceremony for James Blunt. Misjudging the weight of the sword, she unfortunately caught Ed's cheek.
He explained how he didn't think there was anything wrong until he looked down and saw his whole shirt covered in blood! Everyone around him said he had to get stitches, but he was like "why"?
Oh dear, Beatrice – bit of a royal blunder there!
