The world premiere for the long awaited war film Dunkirk will be held in London this evening and you can watch the coverage live right here from 6pm. In addition to the cast Prince Harry is also expected to make an appearance with Contact, a military mental health collaboration.

Directed by Christopher Nolan, famous for his work on Interstellar, Inception and The Dark Knight, this epic thriller stars Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance.

Last month Empire magazine spoke to Kenneth Branagh who plays Commander Bolton in the film and asked him if there were any 'film comforts' during the filming to which he replied,

"In terms of film comforts, there were none. Once you put on the costume and went out there, that’s where you stayed. There’s no sitting about or checking out at all... I mean, Chris director doesn’t sit down. Nobody else sits down. Nobody gets a cup of tea…

The film opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.
