David Beckham is transformed in new role in King Arthur movie

He's practically unrecognisable!

David Beckham has always been one to change up his appearance. From a blonde mohican, to a buzzcut, then cornrows, Becks is a bit of a chameleon in the hair department.

But in his latest Instagram post, the footballer-cum-actor looks totally unrecognisable. Filming for his role in Guy Ritchie's new film King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, Becks was photographed with a scar down the left side of his face and a set of rotten yellow teeth.

David took to Instagram to share the snap, saying: 'Rough day at the office @kingarthurmovie @guyritchie'.

Becks's fans were quick to comment on the snap. One user wrote, 'OMG that's horrible', with another adding, 'WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HANDSOME BABY FACE'.

Some devoted fans were still complimentary of his looks, with one user called 'ismailsaboui' saying, 'Still beautiful...'.

It's safe to say his new look is a little bit different to the snaps he usually delights his fans with.

So suave, isn't he?

Reports suggest that David is set to play a disgruntled knight in the new movie, which is set for release in summer 2017.

Produced by Guy Ritchie, the film stars the likes of Jude Law, Charlie Hunnam and Annabelle Wallis and follows the story of Arthur's upbringing in the back alleys of the city. Once Arthur pulls the sword from the stone, he has to acknowledge his legacy.
