A couple in their 80s have gone viral after a performance of them singing "We'll Meet Again" by Vera Lynn has been seen over one million times. Husband and wife Rex and Selina from Derbyshire have been self isolating and decided to sing together and upload the video on Facebook to cheer up their friends and family, initially having no idea of how much impact it would make.
86 year old Rex and 83 year old Selina, who has Alzhiemers, have been married for 63 years and Rex is now Selina's full time carer. The video was filmed in their living room in Ripley and the romantic pair have received love and support from people all over the world.

In her national address, the Queen referenced the title of the Vera Lynn wartime classic in a bid to cheer up the nation as everyone practices social distancing.
"We have got an Alexa and we asked it to find something from Vera Lynn. 'We'll Meet Again' came up and we thought that was just perfect" said Rex.
"We will come out of this and we will be in a better place" he added.
Rex and Selina met when he gave up his seat for her on the bus and have been inseparable ever since. Speaking about his mum and dad, son Rob Taylor said: "My dad is her sole carer and he's knackered. He goes to bed with her at 8pm and sometimes has to get up with her in the night. He performed the song first through the window frame for family then he decided to put it on his Facebook page to share with friends and family. It was so genuine, just a message to say we'll get through this and see each other again".
"Mum and dad are insperable and they have a love that we would all wish to have" Rob added.
Since their Vera Lynn success, they've since gone on to record and upload more duets together including a cheery rendition of 'Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life".
