Cat thinks he's a lamb after farmer brings him in with flock
Steve the cat has become the new ringleader
Amanda Whitlock has risen to fame online after posting pictures of her cat with his woolly friends.
Amanda's pet cat Steve has been spending so much time with the flock of lambs that he now thinks he is one!
Amanda and her partner Ben were bringing in their lambs from the cold, when they noticed that Steve had made some new friends.
The NZ Herald reported Amanda saying, "He'd just sort of get used to them and spend time with them inside and then the lambs move outside and we started noticing Steve wasn't inside any more and we're like, 'where's Steve?'"
"So we'd have a look out the window and he was just out there interacting with them."
Steve has apparently become the ringerleader of the young lambs, fitting in just fine alongside the flock.
"It's gone pretty viral on the internet," Amanda said. The picture has been shared hundreds of time and has several thousand likes over social media!
Steve has delighted many residents of the NZ region of South Taranaki with his adorable, unlikely friendship with the lambs.
