This black and white sketch is puzzling everyone

Every now and then an optical illusion comes along that really stumps people, and this is one of them.

This black and white sketch first appeared earlier this year on , but has continued to circulate on the internet, puzzling people.

"I stared at this picture for an hour trying to figure out what it was, once you figure it out comment below, please don't ruin it for anyone..." sic said Savannah Root who first posted the photo on Facebook.

The post quickly gathered thousands of shares, and people puzzled over what the strange sketch could be. Guesses ranged from a dead bird or cockroach to just random lines, but once people finally saw it the image stuck.

Everyone has their own method of seeing the image for the first time, but one user suggested using your peripheral vision.

It it in fact a cowboy, complete with hat. Half of his face and hat are in shade, which is the area many think looks like a dead bird or cockroach.
