We all have those moments that have happened to us that make us cringe to the core when we think about them again!

It happens to everyone - even Ronan!

This morning on Magic Breakfast with Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott they were asking for listeners to send in the moments that make them cringe.

Some amazing tales were sent into the show but were all topped when Ronan went on to explain to Harriet what happened to him when he went along to a charity event with a friend "years ago"

"My stomach just flipped at the thought of it!" he said as he went on to explain what happened.

He attended the event as a guest in Spain and after he'd enjoyed a few drinks he was taken by surprise when a fellow guest pledged to give the charity some money if Ronan headed up onto the stage to perform one of his hits.

"I'm in an awful state but when it's a charity you can't say no!" he told Harriet.

Ronan cringed as he told the brilliant story!

"So I have to get up, of course I have to say yes because the money is going to charity and I can't say no, I don't have a band or anything. And they say will you sing one of your songs. So I start Rollercoaster..."

He explained how he got up onto the stage and launched into the intro for his classic Life Is A Rollercoaster...and after a few "na na na na na's" totally blanked!

"I have NO idea what the next line is! I can't remember the words of my song and I just keep going "na na na na na!" he continued.

Harriet Scott laughed along as her Magic Breakfast co-host told the cringe-worthy story!

"And I don't know what to do!

"All I want is the stage to open up and swallow me so I have to stop. I stop the song because I don't know the words.

"Then I start another one - what am I thinking! So I start When You Say Nothing At All. I get to the second line of the song...I can't remember the words!

"It was the most embarrassing moment of my life - I hope those people put that money in for the charity!"

Oh Ronan....we would say we've all been there, but nothing can top that story!
