Coronation Street’s Kate Ford reveals she’s battling a painful health condition

Coronation Street actress Kate Ford have revealed she is battling endometriosis, a painful health condition which is known to cause fertility problems and chronic pain.
Kate, who plays the feisty Tracy Barlow in Coronation Street, shared a story on Twitter about American singer Halsey, who also suffers from the disease.
Quoting a story about Halsey’s recovery from her ‘multiple operations’, Kate said ‘I suffer from this it’s not easy’ to her Twitter followers.

Endometriosis is a condition where the bodies tissue behaves like the lining of the womb. The tissue can be found in many different areas of the body including, the bowel or bladder, the ovaries and fallopian tubes, the lining of the inside of the abdomen and outside of the womb.
The condition is very common and affects an estimated two million women in the UK, with most diagnoses coming between the ages of 25-40.

Kate first appeared on the cobbles way back in 2002. She left the show behind in 2007 before making a dramatic comeback as Tracy Barlow in 2010.
The actress has received a number of awards for her role in the show including 'Best Actress' and 'Best B**ch'.
