David and Victoria Beckham wear iconic purple wedding outfits 25 years on
The pair have recreated their wedding photos!
The 4th July 2024 is not only the UK General Election and American Independence Day, it's also the 25th wedding anniversary of showbiz super couple David and Victoria Beckham.
Believe it or not, it's been an huge 25 years since the England footballer and Spice Girls singer got married at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland in 1999, and now the pair have slipped back into their iconic outfits from the big day.
Sharing a number of posts on social media recreating their day, the happy couple, who share four children together, revealed to fans they still fit into their wedding day outfits, writing: 'Look what we found… 😅💜'.
Posting more snaps from their recent shoot, 50-year-old Victoria added: 'Yep, still got it! 🤣 Can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit! 💜💍 We love you so much @BrooklynPeltzBeckham @RomeoBeckham @CruzBeckham #HarperSeven xxxx'. (sic)
Friends and fans of the couple were quick to comment on the photos, with many very impressed they are able to still fit into their garments from 25 years ago.
Rochelle Humes simply wrote: 'ICONIC', with Peter Andre adding: '❤️❤️❤️'.
A fan wrote: 'Oh my god I was OBSESSED!!! 💜💜💜👑👑👑', with another suggesting: 'Awwwwww this is so lovely:) 💜 I also think you should get @brooklynpeltzbeckham to wear his ickle purple cowboy hat and recreate the photo of him in his purple suit 😂'. (sic)
Another commented: 'So iconic ❤️ Happy Anniversary to you both ❤️❤️', with a fourth writing: 'Gen Z don’t realise the power couple this was 👏'. (sic)
David and Victoria also posted a number of photos to their Instagram Stories, as the pair enjoyed a champagne breakfast to celebrate their relationship milestone.
As well as sharing a throwback photo of his wife wearing her purple Antonio Berardi dress 25 years on, David also shared a throwback snap of himself and his eldest son Brooklyn, who attended their wedding day as a baby.
Despite not attending his parents wedding due to not being born until 2005, 19-year-old Cruz also got in on the action, trying on his dad's wedding suit.
Sharing a still from a video, Cruz can be seen wearing the iconic suit as his dad stands being him. He wrote: 'The suit fits me', with two wink emojis.

Sharing some cute snaps of her and David, Victoria wrote: 'I love you so much @davidbeckham you are the most incredible husband anyone could wish for and I feel truly blessed. You are my everything x I love you so so much x happy birthday 💕💕💕💕' (sic).

2022: David and Victoria celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary
The loved-up couple flew to Paris in June 2022, to celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary on Monday 4th July. Both David and Victoria paid tribute to each other on social media, as well as sharing some sweet throwback snaps.
2023: David and Victoria celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary
Just like he does every year, David gushed over his wife as they celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary in July 2023. Sharing this throwback, he wrote: 'On this day 4.7.99 ❤️ 24 years and counting 👵🏼 👴🏼 To the best wife , mummy & drinking partner ( most of the time 🤪 ) Happy Anniversary love u so much ❤️'. (sic)
2023: Victoria supports David's Inter Miami FC
After David set up his very own MLS team called Inter Miami FC, Victoria and the children showed their support in August 2023 when they won the League Cup final against Nashville SC at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
2023: Beckham is released on Netflix
David and Victoria were joined by their closest family and friends in October 2023 as they attended the London premiere of David's four-part Netflix documentary called Beckham. Within the series, the pair document how they first met, as well as talking about the highs and lows of their relationship in the spotlight.
