Magic at the Olivier Awards
We chat to the winners of the most sought-after awards in British theatre.

Why were Magic Breakfast's Ronan and Harriet heading all dressed up on Sunday evening?
To the 2018 Olivier Awards of course!
With the awards recognised as Britain's most prestigious stage honours, Ronan and Harriet joined theatre's finest on the Royal Albert Hall red carpet.
The duo were there to present the Magic Radio Best Musical Revival award. The nominations included Follies, 42nd Street and On The Town, with Follies succeeding in collecting the honour.
We caught up with Follies director, Dominic Cooke who admitted he'd be taken by surprise, as he "honestly didn't expect" the show to win (but will very happily be giving the award a home in his study!).
Watch our chat with Dominic below and hear the answer to the most important question of the night; which character from any musical he'd most like to be?
On the evening it was Hamilton that scooped the most awards, including Outstanding Achievement In Music and Best New Musical.
Having collected the award for Best Sound Design, Nevin Steinberg said that it was "thrilling" for the show to receive so many nominations, having brought the production to the West End from Broadway.
Michael Jibson who won Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in the musical said that performing "in this country for a British audience" had been "amazing".
Away from Hamilton, there was celebration too for Bryan Cranston winning Best Actor for Network.
A huge fan of British theatre, he told us that "aside from the Greeks" it's "the British who have the deepest theatrical roots". (We couldn't agree more Bryan!)
Wearing his pin, he also took the opportunity to tell us why the awards have an important part to play in the Time's Up campaign, saying that it's time to "tear down the old ways" and "recreate a foundation that is based on mutual respect".
Finally, it was time for us to be nosy and ask the question that we've all considered the answer to at some point!... "Where will you keep your award?". (Andy Blankenbuehler building his own shelf for this very purpose, we salute you.)
