The Crown takes the lead in BAFTA nominations
Crowns off to Claire Foy and the team!
The Crown has been nominated for five BAFTA TV Awards.
The awards season continues with the Virgin TV British Academy Television Awards (BAFTA) nominations announced today (11th April), and it seems that The Crown is leading the way!
The popular TV series has been nominated under four different categories, scooping up a total of five nominations.

Despite the success of The Crown, its high nomination performance at the TV Awards has prompted a number of comments about the lack of recognition for Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and The Night Manager.
People are not happy!
The BAFTA TV Awards will take place on the 14th May at London's Royal Festival Hall, hosted by comedian Sue Perkins.
