With Christmas just around the corner whether you’re looking for last minute Christmas gifts, stocking-fillers or a little something for yourself, The Princes Trust has a whole host of fantastic businesses to support which were all started through The Trust’s Enterprise programme.
This programme supports young entrepreneurs to explore their business ideas, overcome challenges and realise their dream of becoming their own boss.
In November the Trust held a marketplace at Battersea Power Station where many of these young entrepreneurs had pop up shops to sell and showcase their products. To celebrate these brilliant businesses Nick Snaith is championing a different young business owner on his show across December.
You can find out more about each of the businesses and how you can support these new generation of entrepreneurs below.
Kyle Frank – Frank’s Remedies
Kyle Frank is from London and is a Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador who runs his own successful vegan skincare brand, Frank’s Remedies. He came to The Prince’s Trust because he wanted to start his own skincare brand to help others who suffer with skin conditions, like himself. He suffered with acne when he was 18 and says “It really affected my confidence, particularly as I was signed with a talent agency, and I was often on camera and feeling uncomfortable about the appearance of my skin.” Kyle is particularly excited that many of his products are popular with men and hopes that looking after your skin becomes more of a topic interest for them. Kyle is also a key member of the Prince’s Trust Black Pound Marketplace – which aims to support and champion Black entrepreneurship and the Black community through promoting small, Black-owned businesses.

Together the duo produces a range of organic home fragrances and candles to be enjoyed while practicing self-care, and creating a calming space within your home. Georgia Leslie – Coconut Palm
Hailing from from Essex Georgia came to the Prince’s Trust after she lost her mum who was a big source of support for her and her business. “After I lost my mum, I was living by myself and I lost the support for my business” said Georgia. The Prince’s Trust supported Georgia by giving her a mentor who helped give her ideas and practical support for her business Coconut Palm, a sustainable clothing and homeware business. The company uses off-cuts and second-hand fabrics to create beautiful new clothes, homeware and accessories and was inspired by her family’s love for sewing. Georgia specialises in children’s clothes.
