Man in critical condition after collision near Camborne

A pedestrian and a Ford Mondeo towing a caravan were in collision on the A30

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A30 near Camborne.

At around 11.55pm last night (4 July), emergency services were called to the incident involving a pedestrian and a Ford Mondeo towing a caravan on the A30 Westbound near Roseworthy.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, had sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The A30 Westbound in the area at remains closed this morning (5 July) while police continue to investigate.

It is anticipated that it will reopen mid-late morning. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area where possible and to expect traffic disruption this morning.

Investigating officers from the Roads Policing Team want anyone who witnessed the incident, has information or relevant dashcam footage, to report it to police.
