Magic Classical Breakfast with Charles Nove: All you need to know
Wake up to Magic Classical Breakfast with Charles Nove
Ease into the morning from 7am with Charles as he plays the finest mix of vibrant and soothing classical music, as well as reflecting the day ahead with his own light look at the newspapers. At 7.30am and 8.30am he helps you engage the grey matter with his ever-popular, Question of the Day.
After 9am join Charles as he plays all your favourite film, TV and gaming scores with a full hour of Screen Time.
Each weekday Charles can be heard playing out classical pieces that are some of the most famous in the world alongside a selection of contemporary music by the classical artists of today, so we thought we would find out from Charles what some of his favourite pieces are...
Favourite classical composer: Domenico Scarlatti
Desert island classical piece: Nimrod from Elgar’s Enigma Variations
Essential film score: Probably a John Barry. Dances With Wolves, maybe?
Classical tune most likely to sing in the shower: Land Of The Mountain And The Flood – but I’m a whistler not a singer!
