About Fran Godfrey

With secretarial training under her belt, Fran found herself working at 2CR a local radio station in Bournemouth. She somehow ended up being accepted on a 6-month contract with BBC Radio 2 as a Newsreader and some 22 years later she was still there working alongside some radio greats, including Sir Terry Wogan and our very own Charles Nove. Fran spent 8 years presenting Mellow Magic Breakfast, before joining the team at Magic Classical. Fran reckons: a life full of luck and serendipity.
