Join Magic Radio and a cast of West End stars for an unforgettable afternoon of musical performances from the most iconic and best loved stage shows, alongside a chorus of Christmas classics.
Hosted by Magic at the Musicals presenter Lucie Jones and theatre star David Hunter, and backed by a world-class band, Magic Radio’s West End Christmas will bring a touch of festive magic to the London Palladium on the afternoon of Sunday 17th November.
So, gather your family and friends and prepare to be dazzled by sensational performances from actress and singer Carrie Hope Fletcher, your hosts Lucie and David, award winning West End actress Zoe Birkett as well as a special guest appearance from everyone’s favourite duo Michael Ball and Alfie Boe as they take to the stage with musical theatre hits and their favourite Christmas songs.

Lucie Jones
Award-winning actor and solo artist Lucie Jones first came to prominence when she reached the finals of ITV's The X Factor in 2009. Following the TV show, Lucie embarked on the 56-date sell out national arena tour with her fellow contestants. Lucie is a lead vocalist on the number-one single 'You Are Not Alone', recorded by the 2009 The X Factor finalists. Since then, Lucie has performed all over the world as a solo artist and in many musical theatre productions to great success including Les Misérables, Wicked, Waitress and Legally Blonde. Lucie also represented the UK in 2017 Eurovision Song Contest and is a radio presenter on Magic at the Musicals.
David Hunter
David is best known for his lead roles in multi-award-winning West End Musicals, having played Dr Pomatter in WAITRESS, Charlie Price in KINKY BOOTS, Guy in ONCE and Henry in THE TIME TRAVELLER'S WIFE.
David's Film and TV credits include NATIVITY 3 (Mirrorball), HOLBY CITY (BBC), DOCTORS (BBC) and Andrew Lloyd Webber's TV talent show SUPERSTAR (ITV) where he reached the semi finals. A concert version of David's new musical STUCK can be seen in the West End for the first time this December.
Carrie Hope Fletcher
Carrie Hope Fletcher is an award-winning English West End theatre actress and singer. Her performances include the roles of Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables, the original British production of Heathers: The Musical and she originated the role of Cinderella in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella. Outside of her theatre work, she has written several bestselling novels for children and adults.
Michael Ball & Alfie Boe
They have become known as the UK's favourite entertainers, and together form the ultimate musical duo: Michael Ball and Alfie Boe never fail to raise spirits with their unique combination of powerful voices and tongue-in-cheek charm. They have toured the UK to rapturous applause and sell out shows and as a duo, they have now sold over 1.5 million albums in the UK, received two Classic Brit Awards, sold-out three headline arena tours and presented three ITV Specials.
Together At Home, the pair's brand new sixth studio album arrives on November 8th, marking their 10th year making music together and follows the phenomenal success of the duo's previous five duet albums; Their debut Together, became the UK's best-selling album of 2016, beating The Rolling Stones to the Christmas No.1 spot
Zoe Birkett
At just sixteen years old, Zoe became the winning female contestant of ITV's original series of Pop Idol (2002). Her video Get Happy went straight in at number one and she signed a record deal with Simon Fuller's 19 Management. Zoe went on to perform to over 250,000 fans on two national sell out arena tours and sang five hits on the Pop Idol Big Band album which reached number one in the album chart and went triple platinum. She has performed for The Royal Family on several occasions, including The Queen's VE Day Celebration and a concert inside Buckingham Palace, as well as other high-profile events including at The Royal Albert Hall.
Over the last 16 years she has established herself as an award-winning leading actress in London's West End, where her stage work includes:
The title role of Tina in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical (Aldwych Theatre); Pippa in the world premiere of Roald Dahl's The Witches (National Theatre); comedy presenter Kim in The Great British Bake off Musical (Noel Coward Theatre); Arabia and Satine in the original cast of Moulin Rouge for which she won the award for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical 2023 (Piccadilly Theatre), Rachel Marron - played by Whitney Houston in the film - in The Bodyguard Musical for which she was nominated for Best Actress; Diva in the original cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Palace Theatre); Acid Queen (Tina Turner) in The Who's Tommy (Prince Edward Theatre); Female Lead in What A Feeling (London Palladium), Female Lead in Thriller Live (Lyric Theatre & International venues across the world including Brazil, South Africa and Europe); Female Lead in Respect La Diva (Garrick Theatre); Dion in Hair (West End & Munich); and Justice in Rock of Ages (UK Tour).
