Jay Blades quits King's Foundation following coercive behaviour charge

Jay Blades has quit his role at the King's Foundation after being charged with coercive and controlling behaviour.
Blades, who is best known for his presenting role on the BBC show The Repair Shop, was charged by West Mercia Police last week with the offences.
Following the announcement of the charges, Jay has since announced that he would be resigning from the King's Foundation.
Last year, the presenter won a daytime BAFTA TV award for a special of his show that featured the King, who was then the Prince of Wales.
The man, from Wolverhampton, had supported the foundation, then called the Prince's Foundation, as an ambassador.
The charity confirmed to the PA news agency on Sunday (September 15th) that Blades had since left the organisation.
On Friday (September 13th), the host appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on one count of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.
His charge relates to that of his wife Lisa Zbozen, who confirmed that their marriage had ended in a post on her social media in May.
Blades is set to appear at Worcester Crown Court in connection with his charges at a plea hearing and pre-trial preparation meeting on October 11th.
