The National Theatre's new musical opens next month
With less than a month to go until the National Theatre open their brand new musical Hex, take a look into the rehearsal room and get a sneak peek at what to expect.
The musical is based on Sleeping Beauty but tells the classic fairy tale from the fairy's perspective. Hex has a cast led by Tamsin Carroll as Queenie, Rosalie Craig as Fairy, Michael Elcock as Bert and Kat Ronney as Rose.

The cast also includes Christopher Akrill, Delroy Atkinson, Esme Bacalla-Hayes, Madeline Charlemagne, Ebony Clarke, Sonya Cullingford, Hanna Dimtsu, Tamsin Dowsett, Joe Foster, Ben Goffe, Eleanor Kane, Daisy Maywood, Kody Mortimer, Joseph Prouse, Shaq Taylor and Sargon Yelda.
The new musical is directed by Rufus Norris with music by Jim Fortune, book by Tanya Ronder, lyrics by Rufus Norris, designs by Katrina Lindsay and choreography by Jade Hackett.
Hex runs at the Olivier Theatre from 4th December 2021 to 22nd January 2022 and has an age recommendation of 8+.
