Incredible video shows Hamilton's 'Helpless' and 'Satisfied' side-by-side
Lin-Manuel Miranda has retweeted the fan-made video!
Last updated 12th Aug 2020
Fans of the musical Hamilton will be fully aware how incredible it is. Everything about it is beautiful, clever and thought-provoking - from the songs to the staging and all the other minute details in between that you only spot on your 8,394th viewing.
One number that's particularly mind-blowing is 'Satisifed'. Sang by the character of Angelica Schuyler (played by Renée Elise Goldsberry) at the wedding of her sister Eliza to Alexander Hamilton, Angelica laments over how she'd actually fallen in love with Hamilton the moment she met him.
Going back in time to that point, Angelica sings about their connection - before noticing that her sister was 'Helpless' over him, and introduced the pair who hit it off immediately and married shortly after.
Eagle-eyed fans of the production spotted that the song 'Satisfied' sees the cast completely recreate the staging for the previous songs whilst Angelica is singing about going back in time - but now, a fan has put the numbers side-by-side in a video to show just what an amazing job the cast did.
YouTube channel 'Ye Olde Bard' has uploaded the clip, showing 'Satisfied' on the left, with songs 'A Winter's Ball' and 'Helpless' on the right. Seeing how the cast totally retraced their steps will make fans appreciate Hamilton even more! Watch it below.

Fans of the show have gone mad for the clip - and even Hamilton creator/star Lin-Manuel Miranda has retweeted the clip, writing, 'Someone finally went and lined 'em up... 👀👀👀,' after his wife Vanessa Nadal discovered it.
Even die-hard fans were astonished at the clips - there are so many details that are easy to miss but really make the show a next-level production. One fan wrote, 'It's been out for a month already. The fact that it's still surprising us (after having watched it several times... ehem...) it's just another sign of how DAMN GOOD this musical is.'
