Alan Menken reveals he is working on an 'extended' stage version of Disney's Hercules!

Disney songwriting legend Alan Menken has finally confirmed - after years of fans pleading - that he is working on adapting his iconic animated film Hercules for the stage.
Hercules, released by Disney in 1997, has always been a fan favourite to follow in the footsteps of other Disney animations that made it to Broadway such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Frozen. But up until now there has only been a limited run at the open-air Delacorte Theater in Central Park in August 2019.
However, speaking on The Rosie O'Donnell show the composer teased it's return...and it sounds like this time it could be more permanent.
Who else is as excited by the prospect of a new Disney Theatrical production as we are?!
