Ronan Keating performs 'Fairytale of New York' at Magic of Christmas 2023

Magic of Christmas with Holiday Inn Express 2023 took place on Saturday 25th November 2023 - and what a night it was! We saw incredible performances from the likes of Emeli Sandé and Rick Astley among plenty of others, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We also got treated to a very special performance from our very own Magic Breakfast host, Ronan Keating! He performed a stunning rendition of festive classic, 'Fairytale of New York' by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl, duetting with the lovely Lucie Jones whose beautiful vocals brought the house down.

Fans of the performance took to the comments to share their amazement at the incredible moment, with many calling for the pair to record and release it as an official single. One wrote: 'Oh wow! Absolutely brilliant, this is one of my favourite Christmas songs of all time and you guys smashed it. ❤️❤️❤️.'

Another added: 'Best version in years..well done👏👏,' while one other commented: 'I hope they’re releasing this 😍.'
