Turkish cafe owner from Sleaford says earthquake scenes are difficult to watch
He's been reacting to footage of devastation in the country
A Turkish café owner from Sleaford is looking to find ways to raise money to help with rescue efforts
Mesut Palabiyik owns Tablez Café and bistro in the town.
He has family and friends in the areas affected by the earthquake, and told us he also regularly visits Turkey for holidays,
You simply can't watch anymore
We've spoken to him about the situation out there as he looks to provide that support through fundraising.
He told us: "You see all the people, the crying whilst they're trying to find their families, you can't watch anymore, it is difficult and sad because they keep coming."
"It does matter where you are, the colour of people's skin, people should come together."
"We are seeing them come together and that is positive."
All we can do is pray and try and help each other
"Everyday you see pictures and it's like you're in the war."
"You see people's faces and the weather doesn't help and the damage to the roads as well"
"I don't know where to start or what to say".
"It is a disaster, nobody wants that."
"All we can do is pray and do as much as we can to help each other".
