Snow falling across some parts of Lincolnshire and Newark during the morning rush hour has caused issues.

Not all parts of the region were impacted though.

It appeared Scunthorpe and Grantham were worst affected.

Some roads were difficult to pass

A yellow weather warning is in place for the region but doesn't cover the eastern fringes close to the Lincolnshire coast.

Certain roads have been difficult to pass due to snow.

The A15 near Bourne was closed for a time but is now back open.

It's also leading to some train cancellations .

Snow should gradually ease throughout the day

A small number of schools have closed due to the conditions and some homes are without power.

However we should be thankful after other areas saw worse disruption.

Parts of Yorkshire were cut off due to the snow.

The remaining snow should gradually ease throughout the day, although a warning for ice will remain in place for the rest of today and tomorrow.
