Teachers across Lincolnshire and Newark react after schools return
Many went back yesterday whilst others started lessons last week
Schools across Lincolnshire and Newark are back for the new term but this time there aren't the same coronavirus restrictions that were in place previously.
One key change is that if there's a positive Covid 19 test the whole school bubble that child is in won't have to self isolate.
Only the child affected will need to do so.
Many of the region's schools were back yesterday, others returned last week.
We spoke to Sophie Roberts who's a Maths teacher at Baysgarth School in Barton on Humber.
She told us "it doesn't knock out a whole year group, it doesn't knock out every single person in the classroom".
"It will be really beneficial to the children because a lot of them missed out on a huge part of their school life last year".
"They were out for maybe ten days, they'd come back and then would be out for another ten days".
"Being able to be sat in a classroom is massive for its impact on children, not only for their education but for their social life too".
"They need those interaction skills after spending so much time at home."
