Rider of electric bike seriously injured near Immingham
It follows a collision with an HGV
The rider of an electric bike has suffered very serious injuries following a collision with an HGV near Immingham.
It took place on the A180 eastbound in the early hours of yesterday morning. (Tuesday 16th May).
The rider has suffered a leg injury which is being described as life changing.
Humberside Police said:
"We were called at 3.35am to reports that a white HGV and electric pedal cycle had been involved in a road traffic collision on A180 eastbound near to the on-slip for the A1173.
"We would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquires to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 42 of 16 May."
