Lincolnshire's Red Arrows gearing up for their first full summer season since the pandemic

Over 60 shows nationwide are planned

Lincolnshire's Red Arrows are getting ready to delight thousands of people across the country as they return to a full summer season of displays.

They have more than 60 shows nationwide including at the Isle of Man TT races, the Isle of Wight Festival and closer to home at the Cleethorpes Armed Forces event towards the end of June.

Pilot Stuart Rovers who is also known as 'Red Two' is excited to have such a busy schedule coming up

"Covid's put such a stop to all of these things - we haven't had a summer like this since 2018. We've got 64 or 65 shows this summer all over the UK.

"We're looking at the diary - at the weekends we're bouncing around all over the place. Everyone's excited.

He can't wait to fly in front of the crowds for the first time after joining the team last September.

"I've never formally displayed in front of the public. So this summer will be my first go at that. We've obviously practised a lot at Scampton, we've practised a lots out here .

"We've had small events - people watching ad hoc

"We haven't actually formally done any shows yet."
