Police investigate aggravated burglary - after incident involving axe

It happened on Friday evening, with the offenders going into a property in Sleaford before breaking a number of things and leaving

Police are looking for two people after a suspected aggravated burglary in Sleaford - one of whom reportedly was carrying an axe.

It happened on Friday evening, when it’s thought a man was attacked outside the property before they went in and broke a number of things inside.

The alleged victim suffered minor injuries - and it’s not thought anything was taken.

In a statement, Lincolnshire Police said: "Following a call at 6.20pm on Friday, 26 January, our officers attended a property in Northgate.

"One of the suspects is described as white, slim, wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black hoodie and a black snood covering their face.

"We are now appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious, the incident itself, or who has information to contact us as even the smallest detail may help our investigation."
